I normally wouldn't take a photo of someone's art and call it my own "art" but a few statues in New Orleans caught me, spoke to me. In a way they were alive, had a story to tell and I had to capture them.

With it being done in black and white makes it look like the statue has been reduced to ashes by some disaster or nuclear holocaust and the slightest touch will cause it to crumbed into a billion tiny bits of ash. I love this.

Thanks man. Some of the decay is from Katrina damage.  You should have seen parts of this place and how bad the storm effected it.
